The A1 Driveway Process
Every concrete driveway installation begins with excavation and removal of existing material, proper sub-base grading and compaction, placement of reinforcing mesh or rebar, and formwork installation. We use premium 4,000 PSI concrete with fiber reinforcement and air entrainment for freeze-thaw resistance. Finished with a broom texture for traction or stamped for decorative appeal.
Curb Cut Installation
Adding or widening a driveway in NYC requires a DOT curb cut permit and proper curb reconstruction. A1 Building Restoration handles the complete curb cut process — permit application, coordination with DOT, curb removal, concrete curb reconstruction, and apron installation to code.
